Powerful woman of God, Nana Agradaa better known as Evangelist Tupac has falsified claims that paying tithe makes the church member hang their problems around the neck of the pastor.
The once fetish priestess added her voice to the ongoing debate in a viral video that features her in an all-white cloth.
Nana Agradaa noted that numerous fallacies are implanted in the minds of many Ghanaians as far as the payment of tithe is concerned.
Nana Agradaa revealed that payment of tithe is between a person and God, and has nothing to do with the pastor of the church, revealing that in her church, she doesn’t coerce church members to pay tithe.
“I watched videos last night where there was a debate on the payment of tithe. Pastor, one thing is that when we talk about tittle, it is not for the pastor. Tithe belongs to Jesus Christ. When you come to our church, Heavenway Champion, no one is compelled to pay tithe”, she said.
She advised that, when a church member pays tithe, they shouldn’t think that because they have paid tithes, the head pastor or the leaders of the church owe them a favor.
“So, tithe is something that when you pay it in the church, you don’t expect something from your pastor”, she noted.
“Many church members think that because they pay tithe, when they have a funeral or a problem, the pastor must accompany or support them”, she added.
