The police in the Bono East Region have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of the Queen mother of Abamba near Amantin in Atebubu, Nana Serwaa Asaamaa Kuma Gyan.
The suspects have been identified as Rafiu Haruna, Muftawu Adamu and Michael Owusu Spermi.
A statement by the police said they were arrested through an intelligence-led operation.
“The three suspects are currently in Police custody assisting investigations, while efforts continue to bring all perpetrators involved in the crime to justice.”
The Queen was shot dead on February 25, 2026, at her residence at the Methodist Church area in Atebubu.
