Some of the suspects were found in possession of substances suspected to be Indian hemp and quantities of tramadol. During the operation, 45 motorbikes were impounded, along with one toy gun.

The Police said verification and documentation checks were currently ongoing on all impounded motorbikes, while the arrested suspects were being screened as part of ongoing investigations. Those found culpable would be arraigned before the court to face justice.

The Regional Police Command urged members of the public to observe basic security precautions, including avoiding the carrying of large sums of money, moving in the company of others, especially at odd hours, wearing crash helmets, avoiding drunk driving and speeding, and refraining from moving alone in secluded areas.
