Actress Regina Daniels has ignited a significant debate by advocating for polygamy, suggesting that it offers women more security and avoids the heartache of infidelity, even going as far as stating that it is preferable to monogamous relationships.
“Polygamy is the best because even in monogamy, men will still cheat on a woman,” Daniels stated, emphasizing the advantages of polygamy, which allows the woman to give her consent for her husband to have other women.
She further asserted that a man can love more than one woman.
“I live in peace with all my co-wives because our husband loves us all the same, and none of us is jealous of the other,” she added.
Daniels, known for her roles in Nollywood, has been married to Nigerian billionaire Ned Nwoko, who practices polygamy. She explained her positive experience living in a polygamous marriage, noting the mutual respect and absence of jealousy among the co-wives.
The actress’s comments have sparked a debate on social media.
Elizabeth Taylor – No man was ever born poor!! Circumstances dwarf the potential in men, crippling their capabilities to harness wealthy treasures they are naturally endowed with. It takes a real powerful woman to pick a man up from his rock bottom&help him bloom into what he has the ability to be.
Captain darling – She married him for money
Davies – Regina wanted the bag so bad. He doesn’t love the guy, he could not be talking this kind of stuff
Jawid hassim – All I heard was “But in all you do, don’t marry a poor man” it detracted from anyone else
Tonia – They rather cheat and hide it from me than rubbing it all over my face in the name of polygamy. I no dey share my husband. Periodt
Ladit Abari -She was right until when she said, “In all you do, don’t marry a poor man.” That defines why she is in a polygamous marriage with a billionaire. It’s not because of love but survival.
Edgar Ben – That’s not true love. They’re just glorified escorts and gold diggers. That’s why polygamy works, because the women don’t actually love the men.
