Angry Kumasi market women have insisted that Kejetia Dubai was not built by President Mahama, stating that the president has nothing good to offer to the Asante Region.
Speaking in a viral video, a market woman said that President Mahama has no idea of how the Kejetia Dubai came into existence.
She revealed that, the establishment happened under the ruling of President Mahama, but the project was done by President Mahama and “Saaman Hene”.
She shared that, it was the aforementioned duo among other prominent people that invested in the project, with President Mahama doing nothing to it.
“He didn’t build Kejetia. It was Otumfour and Saaman Hene who initiated the project. President Mahama came in only because he was the president. Otumfour and his elders went for the loan to invest in the project, President Mahama had no idea”, she said.
Another market woman expressed that, President Mahama and the NDC have nothing good to offer, stating that they only give empty promises.
She noted that, the Kejetia market was built by former president, John Agyekum Kuffour.
“No NDC can make developmental projects in Kumasi. President Mahama didn’t build the Kejetia Dubai. It was Kuffour who built it”, she shared.
