President Mahama leads ‘Accra Reset’ session at World Economic Forum

President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama is currently leading the first Davos convening of the Accra Reset on January 22, 2026, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting.

The high-level engagement taking place is Switzerland brings together leaders from Africa and the Global South to discuss new approaches to international cooperation amid growing global challenges.

The initiative aims to strengthen sovereign capacity and rethink international cooperation in response to rapidly changing global economic conditions.

Other members of the Presidential Council expected at the meeting include President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, President William Samoei Ruto of Kenya, and President Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
