The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is on a three-day state visit to Zambia, together with his wife, First Lady Lordina Mahama.

As part of the state visit, President Mahama is expected to address the National Assembly of Zambia in Lusaka on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

The president is expected to share Ghana’s vision for a more integrated and prosperous Africa, a post shared by the Office of the President indicated.

“A key highlight of the visit will be an address to the National Assembly of Zambia, during which President Mahama will share Ghana’s vision for a more integrated and prosperous Africa,” the post stated.

President Mahama is also expected to reiterate some of the issues he raised at the UN General Assembly in 2025, including the issue of reparations to African countries.
