The President of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG), Mr David Sitsope Tamakloe, has announced the death of his father, Paul Kofi Tamakloe.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Tamakloe family, Mr Tamakloe said the family had been plunged into deep sorrow by the passing of their beloved patriarch.

As part of the funeral rites, the family will observe a one-week traditional remembrance in honour of the late Mr Tamakloe. The ceremony will also serve as the formal announcement of the funeral and burial arrangements.

The remembrance will be held on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at Asuafua–Asaman Station, a suburb of Kumasi, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers are respectfully invited to join Mr David Tamakloe and the entire family in mourning the loss and celebrating the life of the late Mr Paul Kofi Tamakloe.
