The late Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Naser Toure Mahama, was a Ghanaian politician born on March 17, 1965, in Nima, Accra.

The late Mahama Naser Toure hailed from Kue in the Oti Region.

The late politician first entered Parliament in 2012 on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress after winning the seat in the general election.

He was re-elected in subsequent polls, including the 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections.

The late seasoned politician obtained his GCE O-Level certificate from West Africa Senior High School in 1987, after which he furthered his education at Central University College, Ghana, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1987.

He also obtained a Diploma in Governance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Doshisha University, Japan.

In 2009, the late MP also obtained a diploma from the London Centre of Management, Zane Investments, Ghana.

Additionally, in 2014, he earned a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of the United States.

He held positions such as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OTA Forex Bureau and CEO/Managing Director at Aminaser Oil Co Ltd.

The late politician was also the Vice-Chairperson of the Energy Committee in Parliament.

He was additionally a member of the Roads and Transportation Committee, among others.

The late Naser Toure Mahama, who passed away on January 4, 2025, was married with two children.
