Shatta Wale was the last act to perform at the GTCO Music Concert around 5a.m
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, who often mounts the stage as the closing act at major music concerts, has warned event promoters to be prepared to pay more if he is billed to perform last again.
He raised the issue midway through his performance at the GTCO Music Concert held at the Accra Sports Stadium and organised by GTBank.
The event, which began late on December 19, 2025, ran into the early hours of December 20, 2025. Shatta Wale stated that any promoter who makes him the final act at future shows will be required to pay not less than $2 million.

According to the Dancehall artiste, his fans attend these concerts to watch him perform and should not be made to wait for several hours, especially when they also have other commitments.
“If they ever do show, wey them put me for last again I go charge any promoter $2 million because nobody go fi waste my fans demma time. You people all you get something do,” Shatta Wale said in pidgin.
In the latter part of 2025, Shatta Wale consistently headlined as the closing act at major events, including Tidal Rave, the Wildcard Edition, Medikal’s BYK Concert, the GTCO Music Concert, among others.
Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd, a member of Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO), hosted the second edition of the GTCO Music Concert on December 19, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Following the success of the show, which drew thousands of music lovers and earned praise for its production, star-studded performances, and community impact, it further raised the bar for live entertainment.
Artistes who performed at the 2025 GTCO Music Concert included Nigeria’s Patoranking, Fireboy, Joeboy, King Promise, Ayra Starr who appeared on a Ghanaian stage twice in less than a month after also performing at Tidal Rave, Ghanaian group R2Bees, rapper Sarkodie, international superstar Burna Boy, and Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
