Ghanaian pastor, Prophet Clement Testimony, has shared a message to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regarding Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang’s health condition.
In a recent YouTube video, the popular prophet expressed his belief that the Vice President will make a full recovery and continue her service in the country’s leadership.
Prophet Clement, however, took the opportunity to offer spiritual counsel to the NDC, suggesting that there are underlying spiritual challenges within the party’s leadership.
He claimed that unseen forces are negatively impacting the NDC, and unless these spiritual matters are addressed, they could have long-term consequences for the party’s future.
In his remarks, Prophet Clement reflected on the spiritual condition of the NDC leaders before the 2024 elections.
He claimed that while John Mahama was spiritually strong, his running mate, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, seemed to be spiritually weak.
The pastor suggested that instead of being chosen as Vice President, Opoku-Agyemang should have been given a different prominent role, such as Senior Minister, to avoid these perceived spiritual weaknesses.
He called on the NDC to seek spiritual guidance and break any curses or negative forces influencing their leadership.
This message comes in the wake of growing public concern over Vice President Opoku-Agyemang’s health.
Reports indicate that after experiencing a sudden illness on March 28, 2025, she was rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) and later advised to seek further medical care abroad.
Although there has been speculation regarding the nature of her illness, including claims of a stroke, official sources have assured the public that she is recovering well.
In a message to the Muslim community on Eid Mubarak, the Vice President expressed her appreciation for the prayers and support she received throughout her recovery process.
Eric Adjei, a former deputy spokesperson for her 2024 election campaign, also confirmed that she is doing well, attributing her recovery to divine intervention and grace.
Prophet Clement’s comments have added a new layer to the ongoing discussions about the Vice President’s health, highlighting the intersection of politics and spirituality in Ghanaian public life.
