A prophecy by Prophet Telvin Adjei Sowah, leader of the Prophetic Life Embassy, has resurfaced and gone viral following reports of the detention of former Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, by United States immigration officials.
In a video that has gained widespread attention on social media, Prophet Adjei Sowah is heard predicting that Ofori-Atta, who is currently a suspect in multiple corruption-related investigations, would be brought back to Ghana to face justice.
“I have seen him being handled in court… 16th, 16th, 16th, the number I’m looking at is the 16th of a month; he will be before us in Ghana,” the prophet declared in the recording.
According to Prophet Adjei Sowah, a specific situation involving travel restrictions would delay Ofori-Atta’s return to the country. He claimed that airport-related limitations would prolong the former minister’s journey, causing it to take two additional days before his arrival in Ghana.
“There is a situation that will happen. I am not seeing how they found him, but I’m seeing airport restriction. That airport restriction is what caused two days’ travelling into Ghana. So it took him two days to get to Ghana—so let’s say 14th, 15th, 16th, he is here,” he added.
The prophecy has attracted renewed public interest following developments surrounding Ofori-Atta’s legal troubles. The former finance minister is currently wanted by Ghana’s Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in connection with several criminal investigations. The OSP has also confirmed that Ofori-Atta has been placed on an Interpol Red Notice, signaling international efforts to secure his return.
Authorities in Ghana are yet to officially confirm the date of Ofori-Atta’s possible return, as investigations and extradition-related processes continue.
