The Ghanaian music duo R2Bees, consisting of Omar Sterling and Mugeez, has finally opened up about why they rarely grant interviews.

According to him, his main focus is on producing and creating good music, and he doesn’t prioritize granting interviews as part of his career. He made it clear that his passion lies in his music rather than the media.

Omar Sterling, the other half of R2Bees, shared similar sentiments. He explained that while they used to participate in interviews in the past, they eventually stopped because they found that the media often focused on negativity.

Omar expressed that during interviews, they began noticing how the media would often attempt to use them to chase clout, and this negative portrayal made them reconsider engaging with the media as much as they did before.

Both members of R2Bees have made it clear that their focus remains on their craft and the music they produce, rather than the media’s portrayal of them. Their decision to avoid interviews is based on a desire to maintain control over their image and avoid being dragged into negative media narratives.
