From Aviance, the participants continued to the Airport Roundabout before making their way back towards 37, where they were energised by brass band music and musical interludes.
The walk concluded back at the starting point at Kanda.

Following the physical activities, attendees also underwent health screenings, including checks for blood pressure, blood sugar, eyes, and Body Mass Index (BMI).
Rationale
Speaking after the exercise, Selassie Ibrahim praised the participants for their commitment to keeping fit.
“The event was to challenge staff to maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep fit for the year ahead,” she said.
She also said it was part of the build up to REFFA’s anniversary, indicating that a similar exercise is planned for the Ashanti Region in August.
Mrs Ibrahim also explained that the exercise was also to help promote the REFFA AWARDS, an award scheme which celebrates great movies and talents across the African continent and the diaspora.
She said having successfully organised the first edition last December, REFFA was poised to deliver another incredible awards night in December this year.
Participants who spoke to the Daily Graphic expressed enthusiasm for the walk and called for more such fitness exercises.
They said apart from providing a platform for socialising and networking, it was also to encourage one another to take their health issues seriously.
