The concert, held at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 13, 2025, attracted an estimated 68,000 patrons, drawing music lovers and industry stakeholders in what has been described as a landmark production in the country’s entertainment calendar.

The event delivered an all-night musical experience, featuring performances from leading Ghanaian artistes including Wendy Shay, Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Beeztrap, DJ Lord and Obrafour, each contributing to sustained audience engagement throughout the night.

One of the standout moments occurred at dawn when dancehall artiste Shatta Wale took to the stage at around 6:00 a.m., delivering a high-energy performance that kept fans engaged into the early hours of the morning.

Medikal himself mounted the stage for three separate sets, showcasing his range and stagecraft, while a tribute segment in honour of highlife legend Daddy Lumba provided an emotional highlight that resonated strongly with the audience.

Behind the scenes, Focus played a central role in shaping the event, overseeing planning, marketing strategy and on-ground coordination. His management of logistics and programming ensured smooth stage transitions and a consistent flow of performances, contributing to the overall success of the concert.

Industry observers say the scale and execution of the BYK Concert reinforces Medikal’s growing stature as a dominant force in Ghana’s live music scene, while further cementing the Accra Sports Stadium’s status as a preferred venue for major entertainment productions.

Focus, founder of Xecute Team, has built a reputation for delivering large-scale events and brand activations. Currently serving as Marketing and Events Manager at GHU D Park at Accra Mall, he has been associated with high-profile projects, including UEFA Champions League viewing experiences and major music events.

His professional background includes roles at EIB Network Ghana and contributions to international platforms such as the Global Citizen Festival staged in Accra, as well as involvement in concerts like Black Sherif’s Zaama Disco.

With over a decade of experience, Focus continues to position himself as a key figure in Ghana’s event production landscape, blending marketing strategy with execution to deliver audience-focused experiences across music and corporate sectors.
