The Ministry of Roads and Highways says investigations are progressing into the damage caused to a pedestrian footbridge on the N1 Highway between Fiesta Royale and the Nogahill Hotel, with plans underway to determine the appropriate repairs.

Roads Minister, Kwame Agbodza, disclosed in a statement on February 8 that authorities have made significant headway in identifying those responsible for the incident and assessing the extent of damage to the bridge.

“We have made progress. The police are in touch with the owners of the vehicle, the Ministry of Roads and Highways, and other relevant bodies to advance the investigation, assess the level of damage, and prescribe the necessary repairs,” the Minister stated.
