Samira Bawumia, wife of Ghana’s Vice President and a key figure within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed disappointment in how the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flagbearer, John Mahama, are steering the affairs of the nation. She believes that the country’s challenges would have been better handled had leadership taken a different course.
According to her, the current state of governance under Mahama and the NDC is far from ideal. She maintained that if the right decisions had been made, Ghana would be experiencing a more promising reality.
In her view, the direction of the country could significantly change for the better if her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is entrusted with the presidency. She remains confident that under his leadership, Ghana would witness real progress and improved living conditions.
Samira Bawumia is convinced that placing the future of the nation in her husband’s hands would lead to better outcomes, making a case for voters to consider Dr. Bawumia as Ghana’s next leader.
