GHANAIAN rap heavyweight Sarkodie is gearing up to take his flagship Rapperholic concert to London’s Royal Albert Hall for the first time.
The Rapperholic London concert is scheduled for March 6, 2026, at the world-renowned venue, famous for hosting some of the most prestigious music and cultural performances.
The announcement has generated excitement among fans in the UK, Europe and beyond, with many expected to travel to London to be part of what promises to be a memorable night.
Over the years, Ghanaian artistes have increasingly performed on major international stages, and Sarkodie’s decision to mount Rapperholic in the UK further underscores that progress.
Rapperholic began in Ghana as an annual concert inspired by Sarkodie’s 2012 album of the same name. Over time, it has grown into one of the country’s biggest and most respected music events, becoming a cultural brand closely linked to Ghana’s entertainment identity.
Each edition attracts thousands of fans and features top-tier performances, memorable collaborations and moments that often dominate conversations long after the show ends.
In Ghana, Rapperholic has been staged in Accra and Kumasi, with recent editions reinforcing its status as a must-attend event.
The 2025 Homecoming concert at the Baba Yara Stadium, for instance, was marked by massive patronage, high-energy performances and emotional fan moments, even as rain poured throughout the night.
Sarkodie, born, Michael Owusu Addo, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential rappers. His career spans over a decade, with multiple albums, international collaborations and major awards, including a BET Hip-Hop Award.
