“I wanted to create a fun, erotic song to lighten everyone’s mood,” Schia explains.
“This track allowed me to embrace a new alter ego, ‘Melanin Monroe,’ a witty and naughty character who blesses all baddies with an anthem. I aimed to stay true to myself by incorporating rap, but also wanted to include sweet and memorable melodies for the hook.”
‘Borehole’ is the second collaboration between Schia and producer Jayso, following her 2023 debut ‘La Vida Loca.’ Like its predecessor, this new single showcases Schia’s versatility as an artist who seamlessly blends various genres with rap, creating an eclectic sound that reflects her essence and vision.
