A warning has been issued by a vigilant X formely Twitter, user, shedding light on a new street scam that has emerged in urban areas.
The deceptive scheme involves individuals carrying around pre-damaged bottles filled with a concoction, deliberately targeting unsuspecting passersby or motorists.
According to the alert shared on social media, these street operatives strategically bump into pedestrians or vehicles, causing the already broken bottle to fall and spill its contents.
They then accuse the victim of damaging their child’s medicine, capitalizing on the fear of confrontation to extort money.
“It’s a new scam by the street. These street guys are walking around with an already broken bottle with a concoction content. They will intentionally hit your hand or your car while walking and drop the bottle. They will then accuse you of breaking their child’s medicine. And since you may not want a confrontation, you will pay them. It’s a lie,” the Twitter user warns.
