Shatta Wale has joined the conversation around the Black Stars. He expressed concerns after their recent performances failed to impress.

Speaking during a TikTok live session, the Shatta Movement boss used the moment to air his frustrations and outline what he believes should change ahead of the next major assignment.

A key part of his argument centres on squad selection. He is urging the Ghana Football Association to recall former captain Dede Ayew for the World Cup, insisting the forward’s influence is still needed within the team setup. According to him, pairing Ayew with his brother Jordan Ayew could help stabilise the side and boost morale on the pitch.

He pointed to the chemistry between the two brothers as something the current team lacks, suggesting their connection could inspire better performances from the rest of the squad.

“They have to include Dede Ayew in the World Cup team. We are pleading, it’s not by force, but we are begging that he should be part of the team. We are kneeling… so he can support Jordan because of their strong connection. When they are on the pitch, they uplift the entire team. I am very devastated about all this,” he said.

Shatta Wale did not stop there. He turned his attention to the team’s overall mentality, questioning whether the Black Stars are still driven by the hunger to win at the highest level.

“Black Stars, let me ask you something: do you want to compete for the World Cup or something else? If it’s something else, I would understand because it seems we are not used to winning trophies. Maybe they should create a ‘World Bottle’ for you to compete in. Don’t you drink water at all, or do you want a ‘World Spoon’?” Shatta Wale further stated.
