Shatta Wale Rips Into Ghanaian Bloggers Living Abroad—‘Broke and Angry!’
Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has voiced his displeasure with Ghanaian bloggers and content creators based outside the country, accusing them of unnecessarily commenting on every issue in Ghana.
In a live video, Wale launched a scathing attack on these bloggers, claiming that they are simply frustrated and broke, which is why they resort to criticizing local celebrities and focusing on Ghanaian affairs.
Wale questioned why these vloggers, many of whom live in countries like the USA, UK, Canada, and Germany, don’t address issues within their own host countries
. Instead, he believes they focus on Ghanaian topics because their own lives are not going as planned. According to Wale, this frustration has pushed them to become content creators.
The rant added fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding the rise of Ghanaian influencers abroad, including popular names like Kevin Taylor, Twene Jonas, Archipalago, and others who have gained attention for their commentary on Ghanaian matters.
Wale’s remarks are sparking further discussion on the impact of these content creators, both for and against their activities.
