Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale, has fired a bold shot at his critics, claiming he remains unrivaled in the Ghanaian music scene.
In a recent post on his official Facebook page, the musician boasted of his superior legacy in the industry, stating that no one, especially his so-called competitors like Stonebwoy and Sarkodie, can match his influence or history.
Shatta Wale, who claims to be 37 years old, reminisced about the time when he was already traveling to London for business ventures, a period when many of today’s top Ghanaian musicians hadn’t even entered the industry.
In a fierce jab at his rivals, he remarked that by the time he was making international moves, the fathers of some of these artists hadn’t even met their mothers, let alone give birth to them.
He continued his bragging by claiming that even his visa was “older” than the musical careers of his contemporaries, clearly underscoring his longevity and impact in the industry.
His post read, “The time I start to London den na ur father sef no start con ur mods. My visa is not even ur mate,” positioning himself as the undisputed pioneer of Ghanaian dancehall.
While Shatta Wale’s claims may spark further debates, it’s clear that the artist isn’t backing down from his self-proclaimed throne, making it known that he believes he holds the crown in Ghana’s entertainment scene.
