John Kwame Adu Jack, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa Central in the Bono Region has announced that six communities in the constituency are to benefit from the rural telephony projects by 2027.
They comprise Danyame, Antwirifo, Yawkrom, Kofikumikrom, Aboabo Number Four, and Twumkrom communities.
He said the beneficiary communities and their adjoining villages and towns like Asunsu Number Two, Nsesreso, Dabaabi, Sromani, Chichiwere and Manteware would access enhanced telecommunication services to improve their standard of living. Mr Jack gave the
when he spoke at the Dormaa Central Municipal celebration of the 69th Independence Anniversary at Dormaa-Ahenkro.
He noted that the execution of the projects followed complaints of poor telecommunication networks by the community members.
The MP also expressed concern about the deplorable condition of the Aboabo and the Pamu- Atesikrom roads and assured that those roads would be put in good shape.
Mr Jack explained that the construction of the Kyeremasu-Gambia and Masu-Nkrankwanta road projects as well as Danyame-Asunsu Number One-Asunsu Number Two-Taforo Road projects, had all been captured under the “Big Push” road infrastructure programme.
