The ongoing dispute surrounding the estate of the late King Aboagye Brenya has escalated sharply after his son, Acheampong Atansa, disclosed new revelations during an interview.
Atansa, who works in education, expressed deep concern over a will said to have been left by his father. According to him, the document assigns portions of the estate to two children linked to Maame Grace—the woman currently positioned at the center of the legal battle—while excluding all the biological children of the late King Aboagye Brenya.
He firmly rejected the suggestion that his father had any children with Maame Grace, insisting that the woman entered their father’s life with two children already under her care.
In his view, the distribution presented in the contested will leaves the legitimate children of the late king without any benefit, which he described as a troubling development in the fight over the family’s inheritance.
The dispute continues to unfold as both sides prepare to defend their positions in court.
