One death has been recorded after a Toyota Voxy crashed into a stationary MAN Diesel truck at Teacher Mantey on the Accra–Kumasi Highway.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Toyota Voxy was speeding when it ran into the stationary truck, causing extensive damage to the vehicle in the early hours of 7th March.
A six-member Ghana National Fire Service rescue team from Suhum Municipal Fire Station, led by ADOII Ocansey Bright, responded to the accident.
The firefighters retrieved the body of a male occupant trapped in the Voxy and handed it over to the police.
“The crew later cleared the scene and returned safely to base,” the Service reported in a statement.
