Ghanaian actor and businessman, Kwaku Manu has launched a scathing attack at Ghanaians who politicize “Dumsor” which has become rampant in Ghana.
The actor added his cent to the ongoing issue in a recent interview he had with Ghana Web sighted by GH Page across social media platforms.
The actor believes that it makes no sense for Ghanaians and politicians to politicise “Dumsor”, revealing that the issue is a national one and should be treated as such.
He expressed worry about how politicians and Ghanaians spend much time politicizing the issue for their personal gains instead of contributing their quota towards fixing it.
The actor noted that “We are all aware that Ghana’s sickness is one but we end up turning it into politics. This problem with our power system didn’t start today and we all know that. Meanwhile, the two major political parties keep using it for their political gain”.
The host of “Aggressive Show” suggested that focus should be placed on building more power sources instead of relying on only the Akosombo Dam, stating that the population of the country continues to grow.
He added “We are growing as a country so we should focus on building more power sources. It wouldn’t be a bad idea if we had four Akosombo Dams”.
