Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML), a company known for its work in revenue assurance, has issued a firm warning to the media in Ghana to refrain from circulating damaging or inaccurate information about its operations.
The caution was communicated by the company’s legal representatives on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. They indicated that SML has observed a rising pattern of reports and commentaries that misrepresent its activities, suggesting that these publications appear intentionally crafted to undermine its image.
The legal team emphasized that media outlets must take full responsibility for the content shared on their platforms, particularly statements from guests whose claims may be harmful and unverified. The lawyers stressed that media houses ought to ensure strict editorial checks, fact-based reporting, and ongoing monitoring to prevent the continued spread of misleading narratives.
SML formerly handled revenue audit and monitoring services for the Ghana Revenue Authority. Although the company has faced numerous public accusations in recent months, it maintains that it has complied with every contractual obligation it held with the state and that the allegations circulating are without merit.
