In a disturbing turn of events in Lagos, a 14-year-old house help, Dorcas Adebisi, has been taken into custody after allegedly stabbing her employer, Modupe Lawson, to death on April 9, 2025.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred during an argument between Adebisi and her employer at their home in the Oworonshoki area around 4:00 p.m. The situation escalated quickly, leading to the fatal attack.
A little over an hour after the incident, Lawson’s brother, Abayomi Samuel Aina, alerted authorities. The police promptly arrived at the scene, where they found the deceased’s body in a pool of blood.
The body was transported to the Mainland General Hospital Morgue in Yaba for further examination.
Meanwhile, Adebisi has been detained by the police, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to the tragic event.
