Famous music producer Fredyma has given performers advice on how to receive accolades on stage with grace. Fredyma advises artists not to use the chance to advertise their own businesses or upcoming projects and to make their acceptance speeches succinct.
“Keep your speech brief and to the point,” Fredyma advised in an interview on Accra’s Power FM. “Avoid using the platform to announce your next album or single. Just thank your fans and exit the stage.”
Fredyma’s counsel is intended to preserve the caliber and tempo of award events, which are occasionally overshadowed by speeches that are overly long and self-serving. Artists can express their gratitude for their prizes without taking away from the overall viewing experience by making their statements succinct.
