Veteran Ghanaian musician, Mzbel has cried out, stating that she is now paying in folds for the “Papa No” saga.
To anyone at sea, Mzbel and actress Tracey Boakye became a topic of online discussion in 2020, a few months before the general election.
In their fight, it was alleged that the duo had had an amorous relationship with the then former President, President John Dramani Mahama.
The feud between them escalated to an extremely worrisome level, making people conclude it was one of the reasons the president lost in the 2020 general elections.
Speaking in an interview on United Showbiz on UTV monitored by GH Page, Mzbel shared that she is now badly affected by her feud with Tracey Boakye years ago.
She explained that, even though, willingly, she supported the NDC party to reclaim power in the 2024 general elections, the party has sidelined her, adding that, she was told by the bigwigs in the party that nobody forced her to support the party.
Expressing regret, Mzbel revealed that her feud back then had badly affected her, making her lose numerous opportunities that were due to her.
She said I was there when someone took my name and said Papa No, I was advised not to speak but today I realize that has been a bane to me. For me, I will advise every young person to speak up anytime such issues happen because if you keep quiet it may affect certain opportunities you’ll have in the future”.
