
Legendary musician, Nana Acheampong has disclosed that there is no ‘pension’ or retirement in the music career.
Speaking in an interview monitored by News & Vibes, he disclosed that he started music when he was very young and at that young age, he knew it was God’s gift to him.
He said that he even writes more songs in his old age after 31 years in music.
“I started when I was young, I knew i had music in me, it is God’s gift to me. There is no pension. Right now, I even write more songs. Talent is there even after 31 years in the industry.”
According to him, he has been able to sustain himself in the music industry because he is adapting to change. he explained that those he works with are youthful so they give him ideas on how to stay relevant in the industry.
He further explained that his only challenge now is promotion of his songs which he believes has to be enhanced.
He explained, “During my time it was TV and radio, now social media. So now my management is doing social media more. Right now in thia era, people spend so much on social media. Thats where money goes.”
