Love Ogah, daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, has shared a chilling story about a failed assassination attempt on her father during her secondary school years — a story that she says felt like a scene from a movie.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Love revealed that a group of hired assassins stormed their home with the intention of killing the revered clergyman.
Despite spending hours combing through the house, they were unable to find him.
The twist? According to Love, her father was right there the whole time — but supernaturally hidden from the attackers.
“He was watching them the entire time,” she recalled. “They couldn’t see him. It was like a film trick — all of us were just shocked.”
She said the assassins eventually gave up and left. Only after they were gone did Bishop Oyedepo come out of his room and reveal that he had witnessed the entire ordeal, unseen and untouched.
The story, which left many church members in awe, has been taken by followers as a testament to divine protection and spiritual covering over the popular preacher.
