Thief who pretends to be family member at weddings caught

A cunning thief, believed to be in his 60s, has been caught and handed over to the police after a string of thefts at marriage ceremonies. The suspect, who dresses discreetly and poses as a family member, had been stealing phones, laptops, and iPads from unsuspecting attendees.

In a surprising twist, the thief was caught by a household he had previously targeted during a similar event. The family, who had been victimized by the thief in the past, recognized him and confronted him, leading to his capture.

The suspect’s modus operandi involved blending in with the crowd, often by dressing in attire similar to that of the wedding party or guests. He would then strike, snatching valuables from tables or pockets, and disappear into the crowd.
