Tiktoker Akosua Diqson Breaks Silence on Criticism Over Her Tomboy Style

Ghanaian TikTok influencer Akosua Diqson has finally addressed the public conversations surrounding her signature tomboy appearance, a style that once defined her early popularity on the platform.

In a one-on-one chat with blogger Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, she dismissed criticisms of her dressing, explaining that online opinions have little to no effect on her. She made it clear that unless someone is bold enough to speak to her face, she doesn’t entertain the negativity.

She also revealed that most of her outfits—especially the tomboy-style clothing frequently seen in her TikTok content—are part of brand collaborations. As part of these deals, the clothes are provided to her at no cost, making her style both practical and promotional.

Despite the backlash, Akosua noted that she has recently begun shifting toward a more traditionally feminine wardrobe. However, she clarified that the change isn’t because of social pressure but stems from her own evolving preferences.

Akosua Diqson continues to maintain her growing fan base with her confident attitude and unapologetic authenticity, making it clear she answers to no one but herself.
