Celestine Donkor is a veteran Ghanaian gospel musician

Ghanaian gospel musician Celestine Donkor has revealed the top three African countries streaming her songs, with Togo leading the chart.

Speaking on Hitz FM, the veteran singer explained that after Togo, Benin comes second, while Ghana ranks third.

“Yes, Ghana is number three. Togo followed by Benin, then Ghana, and this happens with most of my songs,” she elaborated.

Celestine clarified, however, that the trend changes when she releases songs entirely in Twi.

“I’ve noticed that when I do completely Twi songs, Ghana tops. But the moment you introduce some Ewe, then the conversation changes,” she explained.

She added that this does not discourage her but rather informs her of the kind of songs her fans prefer.
