The Black Princesses will face Uganda in the last phase of the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
This follows the two teams wins on Sunday to claim aggregate win over South Africa and Zambia respectively in the third round of the qualifiers.
Having played out a 2-2 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium, Charles Sampson’s side beat South Africa 1-0 in the reverse fixture courtesy substitute Priscilla Mensah’s strike.
Uganda, on the other hand, were held to a 1-1 draw in their first meeting of the third round game against Zambia at home.
However, they were able to seal a 1-0 victory on the road in the return encounter to also advance into the last phase of the qualifiers.
The Princesses are chasing an eighth successive appearance at the U20 Women’s World Cup having been present since their debut in 2010.
The fixture between the two teams is scheduled to be played in May as the pair fight for one of four spots handed to the African continent.
