The United States of America (USA) says special provisions have been made to expedite visa application processing for Ghanaians seeking to join the World Cup tournament.

This will address the current delays in securing visa appointments, the acting US Ambassador to Ghana, Rolf Olson, assured the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, during an engagement on January 13, 2026.

Ghana has qualified for the 5th time for the World Cup.

The West African country will face Panama, England, and Croatia in the tournament to be held in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
