In a shocking display of violence, a female employee at a Savings and Loans company in Nkawkaw was brutally attacked by her boss in the office yesterday. The situation took a dire turn when coworkers attempted to intervene, only to be assaulted by the boss as well.
Eyewitnesses describe the scene as “chaotic” and “terrifying,” with the boss allegedly lashing out at anyone who tried to stop him. The female employee was left injured and traumatized, while several coworkers also sustained injuries.
Social media is abuzz with outrage and shock, with many calling for the boss’s immediate arrest and prosecution. “After all this beating, you will be shocked to know the boss hasn’t paid her salary for 3 months. This boss deserves a very long stay in prison,” wrote one Twitter user.
Others expressed disbelief and anger, with some questioning how someone like him became a boss in the first place. “Who even made him a boss? Finished man,” wrote another user.
Some commenters cautioned against jumping to conclusions, urging people to wait for all the facts to come out before passing judgment. “Those blaming the man, do you have the facts of what happened? Let’s not be hasty in our commentary.”
However, many others expressed solidarity with the victim and called for greater protections for workers’ rights. “That’s the problem with these bosses in Ghana, they just abuse their employees and get away with it, and the worker Unions are not doing enough….Worker’s rights.”
The incident has sparked a wider conversation about workplace safety and the need for greater accountability for employers.
