A Ghanaian man has gained significant attention on social media after launching a fierce critique of NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
In his viral rant, the man expressed disappointment in both politicians, revealing that his earlier belief that all doctors are naturally wise had been shattered by the actions and behaviour of the two NPP leaders.
He went on to accuse Bawumia and Prempeh, often referred to as NAPO, of undermining his perception of educated individuals.
According to him, the pair’s conduct during their political campaign has proven that intelligence and wisdom do not necessarily come hand in hand.
He further directed harsh criticism at NAPO, specifically calling out his public speaking abilities, which he claimed lacked the necessary finesse and wisdom for a person in such a high position.
In his scathing remarks, the man suggested that despite their educational backgrounds, both Bawumia and NAPO had failed to exhibit the kind of good judgement and thoughtfulness that he had expected from leaders with such qualifications.
His statements resonated with many online, sparking debates and conversations around the distinction between being educated and having common sense or practical wisdom.
This critique adds to the growing discourse surrounding political leadership in Ghana, particularly as the country prepares for upcoming elections, with voters increasingly scrutinising the words and actions of their leaders.
