Popular Nollywood actress Beverly Ada Mary Osu has revealed why she chooses to date older men over younger suitors, citing her need for financial support and emotional presence.
During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on his YouTube channel, Beverly Osu shared personal insights into her dating preferences.
She admitted that while she has dated older men in the past, none of those relationships ever turned serious.
However, she continues to prefer them because they are capable of meeting her financial needs and giving her the kind of attention she craves.
“I still date men older than me, but it’s never been a sugar daddy situation,” she clarified.
“They were just boyfriends, not married men. I prefer them because I want to be fed, I want money, and I enjoy quality time. I love attention, and that’s something I don’t want to compromise.”
Beverly also admitted that dating a married man in the past was a bad experience for her.
According to the actress, she struggled with pretending and didn’t want to be the reason for another woman’s heartbreak.
“I don’t want to be another woman’s sadness. Dating a married man has never worked for me,” she confessed.
