(Video) Mob justice at Kejetia: One person escapes, another beaten for using counterfeit money
A dramatic scene unfolded at Kejetia market yesterday when a mob attacked two individuals who attempted to use counterfeit money to purchase an item from a female vendor.
According to eyewitnesses, the two individuals, whose identities have not been disclosed, tried to buy an item from the woman using fake currency.
When she discovered the counterfeit money, she raised an alarm, and a mob quickly gathered to mete out justice.
In the ensuing chaos, one of the individuals managed to escape, but the other was not so lucky. The mob brutally beat the person, leaving them with severe injuries.
