In a strategic move to address concerns over power outages and bolster support ahead of the upcoming by-election, New Patriotic Party (NPP) led a high-profile campaign rally in Ejisu, showcasing a massive power plant aimed at averting the return of “dumsor” to the region.
This comes ahead of the crucial by-election scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
The presence of the power plant during the campaign rally was seen as a calculated move to assuage fears of electricity shortages, commonly referred to as “dumsor,” which plagued the country in previous years and recently seen in the country.
