Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, head pastor of Believers Worship Center, has issued a 40-day ultimatum to pastors who have spoken negatively about him.
The prophet has demanded that these pastors retract their statements within the given timeframe or face severe consequences, including the potential collapse of their congregations.
According to reports, Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah made this declaration while preaching to his congregants in Twi, warning that any pastor who fails to comply with his directive will face penalties.
He specifically addressed pastors in the Christian Council of Ghana, urging them to inform their church members about the ultimatum.
This move has sparked controversy within the religious community, with many questioning the prophet’s authority to issue such a demand.
Some have expressed concern that this ultimatum may be seen as a form of intimidation and an attempt to silence critics.
The Christian Council of Ghana has already condemned Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah’s claims, stating that he is not the Jesus that Christians seek in Ghana or the world at large. The council emphasized that there is only one Jesus, who was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was crucified on the cross.
The prophet had made claims that God had said the pictures of Jesus should be replaced with his.
As the 40-day ultimatum begins, many are watching to see how pastors will respond to Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah’s demands.
Will they retract their statements and avoid consequences, or will they stand firm in their beliefs and risk facing penalties? The religious community holds its breath as this drama unfolds.
