Prophet Nigel Gaisie, founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, was overcome with emotion as he laid his father, Samuel Kwasi Baah, to rest on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The solemn ceremony took place at the forecourt of his church, where hundreds gathered to honor the life of the late Baah.
The atmosphere grew heavy as the coffin carrying his father’s remains was prepared for its final journey. Standing beside the casket, Gaisie broke down in tears, whispering emotional words to his late father in a deeply moving moment that left mourners touched.
Members of the Ghana Police Service and Ghana Army led a ceremonial tribute, carrying wreaths and marching ahead of the coffin. The service was graced by prominent figures from politics, the clergy, and the entertainment industry, showing the wide-reaching impact of the man being celebrated.
Among the mourners were Bishop Salifu Amoako, Prophet Emmanuel Boakye (Ogyaba), Apostle Paul Oko Hackman, and politician Hassan Ayariga. The CEO of the National Youth Authority and other notable personalities were also in attendance.
The solemnity of the occasion was occasionally lifted by music and dance. Gospel singer Jack Alolome joined Gaisie briefly on the dance floor, while Broda Sammy delivered a spirited performance that saw him dancing with former Second Lady Samira Bawumia and even the bereaved prophet himself.
The burial not only marked a personal loss for Nigel Gaisie but also became a gathering of faith leaders, politicians, and entertainers, all united in paying their last respects.
