The TikTok community and residents of Konongo in the Ashanti Region are mourning the tragic death of popular social media personality, Guy 1, who was reportedly stabbed in a violent altercation.
The incident, which has left the community in shock, occurred at the hands of a known local troublemaker, Yaw Apese, a figure infamous for his unruly behaviour and acts of intimidation in the area.
According to reports, the confrontation between the two arose after Yaw Apese had been persistently harassing Guy 1’s younger brother, demanding money from him on multiple occasions.
It is believed that the money Yaw Apese was extorting from the young boy was intended for the purchase of gold, adding financial strain to the family and increasing the tension between the two parties.
Unable to tolerate the situation any longer, Guy 1 confronted Yaw Apese, leading to an altercation.
Unfortunately, the disagreement escalated into violence when Yaw Apese, who had a knife in his possession, fatally stabbed Guy 1.
The severity of the attack left little chance for survival, and the TikToker tragically lost his life.
