Voting in the presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has commenced at the Pastoral Centre in the Sunyani East Constituency on Saturday January 31, 2026.

In line with the regulations governing the election, voting started at exactly 7:00 a.m., amid tight security provided by personnel of the Ghana Police Service.

In all, a total of 891 party delegates are expected to cast their ballots at the Pastoral Centre in the ongoing intra-party contest.
