In a scene reminiscent of a “beer lovers’ nightmare,” a vehicle laden with crates of Club beer met with an accident yesterday on the bustling Accra-Tema motorway, causing a significant spillage and leaving a trail of broken bottles in its wake.
Eyewitnesses recount the chaos that ensued as the vehicle veered off the road, causing its cargo of beer crates to topple over and scatter across the roadway.
The sound of shattering glass reverberated through the air as the vehicle came to rest on its side, prompting onlookers to rush to the scene to assess the situation.
The aftermath of the accident painted a vivid picture of the scale of the spillage, with broken bottles strewn across the motorway and beer flowing freely onto the asphalt.
The driver of the vehicle, visibly shaken but thankfully uninjured, was assisted by bystanders as they worked to clear the debris and salvage what remained of the intact beer products.
