Daddy Lumba’s family head known across social media platforms as Abusuapnin Tupac has clapped back at family members among others who trumpet that he is no longer the Abusuapanin.

Despite the numerous reports that he had been deposed as the family head for the “Ekuona Family”, Abusuapnin Tupac decided to keep quiet.

In a video flying across social media platforms, Abusuapnin Tupac could be seen neatly dressed in an African print and when asked by media personalities where he was going, he disclosed that the day was slated to meet “Dadiesoaba Hene”, a chief who played an active role in the arrangements of the late musician’s one-week and funeral celebrations.

In another video, that is, after Abusuapanin Tupac had visited the chief in focus, he disclosed that the meeting was postponed because the other immediate family members failed to report to the meeting even though they were fully aware.

Reacting to his destoolment, Abusuapanin Tupac noted that there was no iota of truth in such reports, hence, Ghanaians should sweep them under the carpet.

Tupac stated that as an aged Ashanti, before an Abusuapnin could be destooled, it follows a process, and not just by sitting on social media to announce one’s destoolment.

“We were to come to the palace following what has been flying across social media platforms about my destoolment. I always say that social media doesn’t kill a person, you understand? There are traditions to everything. So, you don’t just go and sit somewhere and use unprintable words on another person. Some of us have decided not to talk, so, I don’t talk”, he said.

He added that “in the Ashanti fraternity, we use traditions to do everything. A process has to be followed before an Abusuapanin could be destooled. And not just by sitting someone to run your mouth”.

Talking about what transpired at the palace, Abusuapanin Tupac said “We came here but they didn’t come. So, a new date would be communicated to them by the chief for us to meet and have a discussion”.
