Black Stars forward, Antoine Semenyo
Manchester City winger, Antoine Semenyo has said that the Black Stars will show the beautiful Ghanaian culture at the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
According to Semenyo, the Black Stars are going to the World Cup to sell the Ghanaian culture to the world after missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Speaking to CBS Sports, the Manchester City forward said, “We want to show our culture.”
The former AFC Bournemouth winger also revealed how he will celebrate a goal against the Three Lions of England at the World Cup.
“If I score for Ghana against England at the World Cup, I will probably dance with the whole team,” Antoine Semenyo
The Black Stars who will be making their 5th appearance in the World Cup have been paired in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
Ghana will open their World Cup campaign against Panama on June 17 in Toronto, before taking on England in Boston. The group stage will conclude with a match against Croatia on June 27 in Philadelphia.
